Pierre Gauthier breaks down his (failed) telephone screen for a Director of Engineering role at Google. The impression Gauthier wants to communicate - that of an inexperienced tech recruiter using archaic parsing techniques - is clear. It makes a slightly bitter read, but the point is made - are there ever right answers on a telephone screen?
